Looks like I'll be back in town the last week of April for a conference. I think I'll plan to get there either the week before, or stay a week after so I can visit. Any input on what would work best for you?
I figure I'll rent a car, but it would be great if I could crash somewhere instead of paying for hotel time. Any takers?

Good Luck on Sunday
Pam -
I'll be thinking about you Sunday. I'm sure you'll do well, I just wish I could see it!

Driving in The UK
It really is the little things. It amuses me every morning as I head down Cold Bath Road, meander to Penny Pot Lane, over to Burley Bank Road and finally, Cold Cotes Road. Which is really nothing compared to Blubberhouse Road and Skeleton On Ure.
And let's not forget the roundabouts. Within a half mile, we can go through the Empress, the Prince of Wales, the Jubilee, the Little Wonder or the Skipton. And that's just the major ones.
Need to turn around? Don't turn down a Close - that's the equivalent of a Cul-de-Sac. And don't think you're going to drive down the Snickleways in the Shambles in York - too narrow.
